The Kid’s Club Vision

Kid's Club is a nurturing environment where children grow in Jesus and learn about their value and worth. It's a fun and safe place in which a child can let down their guard and have a good time.

Every Saturday morning, excitement and anticipation fill the air as over one hundred children come to The Foundry to sing, learn, and pray.

Kid's Club History
D' Laine Bennett

In the Spring of 1997, it became clear that we needed something for the neighborhood children. There were children everywhere. They would be waiting on us. They all wanted our attention. It was as if they were crying out, "Notice me!" "Play with me!" "Talk to me!" "Pick me up!" We needed something just for them, something they could look forward to.

That year during Spring Break, Tamara Batarseh from "Love in the Real World" and I launched a day camp for children in Grades K-6th. We were amazed and surprised to have 200 children attend. We used outdoor obstacle courses, as well as visual and performing arts to teach Biblical concepts. That weekend, we had our first Saturday morning Kid's C.L.U.B. The same foundational format exists today. We worship, learn, and have fun!. You might be surprised to see us in action.

It's portable, simple, and FUN! Come see us.

Kid's Club was an important part of our ministry to the community of the John Henry Hale projects right here in urban Nashville.  After the complete demolition and rebuilding of this community, Kid's Club was not reestablished.
