Scott and Sarah MacLeod

Scott & Sarah MacLeod

Scott is a musician, songwriter, producer, Pastor and an international author and speaker. Scott moved from Canada in 1986 to NashvilleTN where he worked in the Christian Music Industry full-time until 1994.  Unsatisfied with the direction of Christian music industry was heading he and some of his music peers began to seek the lord in a Thursday night men’s prayer gathering. There they were challenged by the Words of Jesus to begin to “give to those who cannot repay.”

MacLeod knew it was time to get beyond “serving God in the way that best served himself” and the result was that they began to serve the poor and the lost downtown Nashville.  Here, in an obscure outreach on the wrong side of town, Scott found what he was looking for. The Kingdom of Heaven was found among the poor… and as they continued with more outreaches everything started to change!

As the outreaches to the poor and the lost grew, and so did a vision which evolved into a nonprofit ministry that MacLeod founded and presently directs...  www.provisioninternational.com.

Provision International has done and continues to do extensive work with the Nashville’s inner city community and with children internationally… meeting both physical and spiritual needs.

Scott has a vision to mobilize the creative community for compassion and justice and to see a second Renaissance – the rebirth of music and arts for God’s glory and for global Harvest.

He is also the author of a book/vision called Snakes in the Lobby that has been translated into ten languages and is instrumental in setting many musicians/artists free from the pitfalls that he endured as a young musician in Nashville.

MacLeod has founded and presently directs Thunder School in downtown Nashville -- a school that equips creative evangelists and releases musicianaries for the Harvest. He also founded and leads a music group called Harvest Sound.
